2022 GCI Member River Trip, July 31st – August 5th

Glen Canyon Institute is excited to announce our 2022 member river trip will be on the Colorado River through Meander, Cataract, and Narrow Canyons. This special six day trip will focus on restoring sections of river and side canyons that GCI and partners have been studying. The trip will feature esteemed historian, book dealer, and friend of Glen Canyon legends like Katie Lee and Ed Abbey, Ken Sanders. 

This six day, five night trip will follow the Colorado River through Canyonlands National Park winding through Meander, Cataract, and Narrow Canyons. We will experience exhilarating whitewater rapids and ~35 miles of restored Colorado River that has come back to life.

Ken and members from GCI’s board and staff will help you understand the history and future of this amazing place. As always, the top-notch guides at Holiday River Expeditions will offer rich interpretation of the river experience and provide amazing healthy and delicious meals.

Price: $1,399 until March 1st then the price goes to $1,499
