This June, we floated the Upper section of the San Juan River between Bluff and Mexican Hat on the Utah/ Navajo Reservation border. Our days were filled with amazing archaeology, beautiful desert scenery and the relaxation of a raft journey. In the evenings our discussions were lead by GCI’s Wade Graham and Utah author, Chip Ward. Conversations ranged GCI’s work, the Native traditions, and funny life stories. The whole adventure was both enlightening and a refreshing escape from the busy world we live in. Thank you to all the guests that joined along and to Holiday River Expeditions for guiding us on an unforgettable trip.
