Privacy Policy

Glen Canyon Institute (GCI) respects our member's privacy, and we are committed to upholding your confidence and trust. GCI has created the following privacy policy to keep you informed about the ways that we collect and utilize this information.

GCI will not collect any information from you without your knowledge and consent. All service providers used by GCI are subject to a non-disclosure agreement.

Credit Card Information/ Secure Transactions:

Credit card information is collected only to process member donations and bookstore orders. We do not permanently store this information, and at no point are credit card numbers stored on the website or in any location that can be accessed through the Internet.

All credit card transactions with GCI via our website are SSL encrypted and transmitted via a secure connection.

Email Address

GCI requests email addresses for the purpose of sending action alerts, our monthly e-newsletter, and other correspondence to interested individuals. GCI may also request your email address to confirm any online donations or purchases. GCI does not sell, rent, or trade email addresses to third parties.

Information That May Be Requested

GCI may require information that is submitted directly to GCI including name, email address, postal address, and similar information used for purposes including donating, membership, subscribing to our e-newsletter, or purchasing items from our bookstore.

Phone Number

GCI requests phone numbers to confirm online transactions including donation, membership renewals, and bookstore order. GCI may use you phone number in case of a problem with an online transaction, your donation or may make membership renewal calls. GCI does not sell, rent, or trade phone numbers to third parties.

Postal Address

GCI will not sell or rent any information you provide us through our mailings, website or otherwise. GCI may occasionally exchange our mailing list (names and addresses only) with other grassroots organizations we work with, in an effort to increase public awareness and support for the restoration of Glen Canyon. Refund/Return Policy

We guarantee complete satisfaction on any products sold in our bookstore. If a product is damaged upon receipt, please send it back and we will either refund or replace your purchase. Your card will be credited upon receipt of the returned merchandise.

Shipping Policy

Your bookstore items will be shipped as soon as we receive your order. If your item is not in stock, we will notify you and will ship it as soon as it is in stock. Expect your bookstore order within 5 - 15 days of your purchase.
