“Glen Canyon: Love Stories from a Lost Eden”
Katie Lee will present a slideshow featuring unforgettable photographs
of Glen Canyon, accompanied by readings from her books and essays, and
songs about the Colorado River.
Katie Lee is the author of All My Rivers Are Gone: A Journey of Exploration
Through Glen Canyon. She was the third woman to run all the rapids in
the Grand Canyon. She explored and guided through Glen Canyon for ten
years before it was dammed. Her eloquent insights into wilderness values
have been compared to those of the late Edward Abbey, who was a close
friend.
