Glen Canyon Institute’s 15th Anniversary Event

GCI recently held a public event to commemorate 15 years as the leader in the movement to restore Glen Canyon. The conference featured presentations by Katie Lee, renowned singer, writer, and environmental activist; and Terry Tempest Williams, distinguished author, naturalist, and conservationist, who was presented with the prestigious David R. Brower Award for Outstanding Environmental Activism.

Water Conference – Fall 2008

GCI’s Water Conference 2008 featured presentations by a number of respected scientists and conservationists including, Dave Wegner, Connie Woodhouse, Greg McCabe, Brad Udall and Robert Adler. Congressman George Miller was presented with the David R. Brower Award for Outstanding Environmental Activism.
